I really liked the concept and found it quite fun to play! The music and visuals were great! I liked that the map felt never ending and how moving diagonally felt to give a bit of a speed boost.
I managed to get quite a big group of enemies following me and it was a lot of fun dodging them. I wasn't able to get a huge group of ghosties so perhaps with practice and better technique I can unlock some of those cool powers.
Great work!
I liked the unique take on both the theme and the genre, it took me a little bit to figure out how exactly to use the ghosts but once I got the hang of it it was pretty fun! Definitely really satisfying to line up a huge crowd of ghosts just right to carve a path through a horde of enemies.
The art is really nice and does a great job of conveying the important information, and is just generally nice to look at. The game definitely captures that "flow" state where you don't realize you've been playing for 20 minutes already.
This game had me smilin' the whole time.
Favorite parts:
"Oh my God I get a fuckin' laser!"
&
Acquiring so many ghosties that my Night Carousel becomes a cheese grater for health bars >:)
Very easy to replay repeatedly, and the art is amazing!
